RhinoGear Pty Ltd was founded in Melbourne in 2022 with one stubborn idea: that Australians shouldn't have to choose between paying $40 for a pharmacy box of imported nasal strips or settling for cheap, weak, single-spring versions from overseas marketplaces. The breathwork space was overdue an Australian challenger that took materials, regulation and customer support seriously.
Today RhinoGear ships nasal strips and gentle sleep mouth tape direct to tens of thousands of Australian customers from our Melbourne fulfilment partner. We're intentionally small. There is no marketing department. Every product decision goes through people who use the products themselves, every night.
What we make
We design and source two products: RhinoGear Nasal Strips — a dual-spring external nasal dilator made from medical-grade polyester and a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive — and RhinoGear Gentle Mouth Tape — a vertical centre-strip mouth tape that leaves the corners of the lips free for safety and comfort.
Both products are drug-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic and single-use. Both are designed for nightly wear by healthy adults.
Materials & manufacturing
The dual-spring band inside each nasal strip is laminated medical-grade polyester. The adhesive is a soft acrylic engineered for up to 12 hours of skin contact and clean warm-water removal. The mouth tape uses a non-woven medical fabric backing and the same acrylic adhesive system at a lighter coat weight.
Manufacturing is contracted to ISO-13485 certified facilities. Every production batch is independently tested for adhesive strength, skin sensitivity and dimensional consistency before being released to our Melbourne warehouse.

Our outer cartons are 100% recycled cardboard printed with soy-based inks. Inner trays are recyclable PET. We are working toward a recyclable mono-material strip backing in 2026 and will publish progress publicly when we hit that milestone.
